  2. I hate to ask, but, I have three questions:
    1. The most important thing, of course, is if Sarah is alright?
    2. Can we expect a new episode this week?
    3. Who's Stephanie? A new player?

... The suspense is killing me. Keep up the good work guys, and have a wonderful holiday.

  3. Merry Christmas to you too.
And I just have to ask: Who is Stephanie? I have listened to all episodes, but I cannot recall her. Is she a new player? That would be so exciting!!!!

  4. @Kallisto,

I'm guessing new player... And hey, if she is, let's take bets on what her character's Seeming is going to be. I'm hoping it's going to be Ogre, since the motley doesn't have one yet.

  8. Get well soon, Sara!... Have a happy new year, FSP crew! Heh heh... 'FSP crew' sounds like a rap group. And hey, wouldn't you know it, I do poetry slams, I'm listening to rap, and I'm bored as hell.

    Ahem.

    'FSP Crew' straight from Tampa/
Playing C:TL like an FTL gangsta, for the lulz/

That cat Sara's sharp as a shank, with diamonds and jewels, no rulez, when she whacks foolz on the head with a crystal bat, don't talk smack, or the queen will break your knee caps

Chris is ethereal with the ST skillz, hits you in the jaw so hard it breaks your grillz, you spit blood, all the pain you feel, it's your death he deals when you diss his wheels

My man Shane gonna poison you from the inside, your soul can't hide, he's gonna rip it out, no doubt, you can't confide in angels when one of them skins your hide

And don't piss on Colton when he's holsting a gold bling pistol pointing at your temple, feel the Earth tremble, when you feel the gun roar like the holy gospel/

Billy plays a shark-man, that which you can't stand, he rolls in the Cadillac so boss you can't comprehend, when he steps out in the all white suit, he's gotta glock and Baretta so there's no dispute, you can't comprehend, can't refute

    Matt... Just... Matt...

    Stephanie... WHO ARE YOU!!!???

    Ah, whatever, I'm tired.

  9. Oh wow, I didn't realize how much confusion would arise over Stephanie.

Stef is Billy's older sister and a founding member of FSP (I've known her for over a decade now - makes one feel old, haha). She was unable to make the first few sessions of At Sixes and Sevens, but she appears a little bit later in the story. You'll get a chance to "meet" her in the Chapter 2 feedback episode. :)

In case you don't check all the posts, I am back and pretty much better (I have a voice again, no fevers, and no more medicines, HUZZAH!). I am SOOOOOO sorry about the way this messed up our releases (no voice meant it was hard to do intros and outros, feedback - not to mention just having the energy to work).

But! We will be recording the Chapter 2 Feedback at my annual New Year's Eve party and I will be releasing both that episode and Chapter 3 next week! We should then be returning to the regular posting schedule.

Son of 91 - You just made my day! Your poetry slam/rap thingie is AWESOME! I can't wait to share it with the others. It will definitely be done on the podcast, that's for sure!

  10. Lol, let me write you a better version... Name of the song is the 'Flaming Sofa Anthem'.

She's the one who put FSP on the map, so you can get your thrillz/
And my man Chris is ethereal with the ST skillz/

And don't piss on Colton when he's holsting/

    FSP Crew, straight from Tampa
More gangsta than that fag Flo Rida (6x)

    -----------

Be sure to clap while performing, to set the rhythem.

With that being said, glad to hear you're well again, Sara. If it's not too late, a few questions:

    1. How did the fine folks at Flaming Sofa meet? Why did you guys decide to do a podcast?
    2. A question for ST Chris: Changeling: The Lost is inspired largely from European, Celtic mythology. Have you read any of the historical lore on the subject of fairies and what-not? If so, how does that factor into your storytelling? Do you find the actual tales of faery terrifying?
    3. The legend of the Maiden of Sevens... How does FSP feel about playing a story of failed romance? Do you find yourselves that much more emotionally invested to kill the Lord of Sixes?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Also, ONE last question... Who do you guys think is best pony? :P

  12. @Son of 91

    I like the rap! :o)
Yep, an Ogre would be cool. Or an elemental. Perhaps a Waterborn who used to used as a wishing well to lure humans into Arcadia.
