Episode #11 Delay

Good Evening, folks! I have nearly all of Episode #11 ready to go for you all, but I'm currently missing a pivotal sound file. Our awesome Storyteller Colton put together a really cool video for our characters to watch, but the sound of the video really doesn't come through on the recording. :(

Hopefully I will soon get my hands on the video file so I can directly embed the sound in the episode as well as post it onto our YouTube.

The sound quality of this session is very poor as it is, and I'm trying to make it as clear and as enjoyable as possible. Luckily I have now purchased a new, far more wonderful microphone for us to use in recording our next chronicle (which will be a return to "At Sixes and Sevens").

Star Wars One Shot Game Session

Every once in a while the Flaming Sofa Productions crew likes to get together and have a one night, one session, one shot game session. Pre-gen characters, simple plotlines, and lots of fun.

This is one of those sessions. We recently (June 22nd) got together and played a one shot session of Star Wars 3.5 edition, helmed by our GM Colton. The main purpose of the session was to playtest and experiment with a new character class, a new angle on Force Sensitives, that Colton has created. We had a blast playing the game and we hope you all get a kick out of listening.

Warning - this episode has had very minimal editing and due to its sheer length had to be chopped into two bits. Part 1 is approximately 3 hours 22 minutes in length and Part 2 is approximately 1 hour 57 minutes in length.

Breaking the Silence

I know we've been rather quiet lately (Apologies! It's my fault!), but we have some really awesome stuff in store!

To be released later today - an epic One Shot Adventure undertaken in the Star Wars 3.5e system, GM-ed by Colton and featuring Chris, Sara, and Shane as a variety of Player Characters! This session will be released in one, multi-hour glorious episode. (Which is one of the reasons why I haven't yet released anything podcasty - I was saving upload space/monies).

To be released soon - "A Shadow in the Soul" a World of Darkness multi-chapter/session chronicle also helmed by Colton as the Storyteller. I'm still working on background infrastructure for this podcast, which is why it's taking a while (curse this whole "having to work for a living" thing and its related responsibilities). I'll keep you all updated.

The next actual play campaign that Flaming Sofa Productions will be producing is "A Shadow in the Soul", a World of Darkness story hosted by Colton (who plays Dragonheart in "At Sixes and Sevens"). As such we're hoping to have some character portraits and the like for the story; my skills at artistry are pretty limited (as evidenced by our current artwork) and we're hoping we could maybe look to our fabulous listeners for some help!
